Proof of Ownership for Video & Creative Work | Sinima

Document ownership, rights, chain of title, provenance, and fingerprints around your creative work. Get verifiable proof of creation and custody with Sinima.

Your work stays private.

Fingerprinted, dated and in your name.

You set who sees it. We alert you to misuse.

A dated ownership certificate names the owner, the title of the work, the date it was added, and a code anyone can check. You can add your legal representation, a direct point of contact, outside filings and credited co-creators. Private contact details are never printed unless you switch that on yourself.

Sinima keeps the people, rights, permissions, and supporting paperwork behind your ownership claim connected to the work, creating a record that can stay with the asset as it moves.

Establish ownership and rights first, then decide which eligible files can be licensed for AI training.

Document who owns the work, including co-creators, and connect the declaration to a verified identity.

Keep releases, rights agreements, permissions, and other documentation connected to the work, building the paper trail that supports chain of title.

Keep recorded events, ownership declarations and available evidence together. The record supports your claim; it does not determine authorship or legal ownership.

Files change as they move. Sinima creates multiple fingerprints that give your work technical identity signals, helping recognize the original file and connect changed versions back to its asset record.

Identifies the exact original file.

Helps recognize the work after changes like compression, resizing, screenshots, or format changes.

Helps identify related content based on what appears in the asset.

What protection unlocks

Ownership, rights, permissions, and fingerprints create the foundation Sinima can use to help identify where your work may show up and what happens next.

Your fingerprints provide identity signals for future comparisons across supported sources. Monitoring is currently in development and coming soon.

Your ownership and permissions record helps preserve the context around what uses you have and have not authorized.

Rights-cleared work can become eligible for licensing. You still decide which files participate.

Protection is included on every Sinima plan.

Frequently asked questions

How can I prove I created or own a video?

Sinima creates a documented ownership record that connects your identity, ownership and rights information, supporting paperwork, provenance, and technical fingerprints to the work. Once the required steps are complete, you receive an Ownership Certificate tied to that record.

How does Sinima protect the identity of my work?

Sinima connects your ownership and rights record to multiple technical fingerprints of the asset. Those fingerprints help identify the original file and, where supported, recognize changed versions so they can be connected back to the same record and used for monitoring.

What is chain of title, and how does Sinima support it?

Chain of title is the paper trail that documents ownership and rights around a creative work. Sinima keeps ownership declarations, releases, rights agreements, permissions, and supporting documentation connected to the asset, helping you maintain the records that support that chain.

What is a video fingerprint?

A video fingerprint is a technical signal used to identify a file or its content. Sinima uses cryptographic, perceptual, and semantic fingerprints because each helps identify the work in a different way.

Can Sinima recognize my work if the file has been changed?

Perceptual and semantic fingerprints can help compare changed versions with the original work where supported. A match is not guaranteed, and Monitoring is currently in development and coming soon.

What does a Sinima Ownership Certificate prove?

A Sinima Ownership Certificate records the submitted file, recorded events, ownership declarations and available evidence. It does not establish who created the work or determine legal ownership on its own.

Does Sinima stop people from copying my work?

No. Sinima does not prevent someone from copying a file. Protection creates the ownership, provenance, and fingerprint record that can help trace changed copies back to the original work.

Does protecting my work give Sinima permission to license it or use it for AI training?

No. Protection establishes the ownership and rights record that can make eligible work licensable. You still decide which files participate, and AI training licensing is opt-in file by file, never account-wide.
